Hi!
My name is Lo, and I'm currently living in Seoul, Korea.
Throughout my teens and especially during my early to mid 20s, I struggled with acne, until I moved to Seoul in late 2015. Once I got here, my acne worsened due to external and internal stressors, so I started reading up on skincare a lot more than I used to, and have finally been able to clear my acne for good thanks to lifestyle adjustments as well as choosing my skincare and make-up more carefully.
Personally, I have found that less, for me, is not more. My skin looks better the more layers of treatments and hydrating products I use. I love to slather on a multitude of products on a daily basis and am always open to trying more.
As I am based in Korea, these products will primarily hail from Korea, though I do not discriminate against products from other countries.
This blog only features products that I have either used up fully, or that do not agree with me at all and have been emptied into the bin.
Either way, all products will have landed in the bin by the time you read this, hence the name 'emptiesdiaries' — the products will be empty by the time they are thrown away.
This blog is to share my passion for skincare as well as make-up and perhaps help a few people on the way.
