Today, one of my favourite pimple fighting serums. ISOI's Blemish Care Serum Plus. It's rather expensive - definitely high-end drugstore, right among French pharmacy brands like Uriage, Vichy and the like. One small bottle of 35 ml retails for around KRW 32 at my local Olive Young, which equals around USD 30. On Amazon, it retails for USD 59.00. Whee - what a difference in price, isn't it? Here's your TL,DR: It's expensive but great. I am not using it right now as I am trying out other options, however I have repurchased this at least 4 times in the past. That's how good it is.
It disinfects blemishes and calms them down so well. It was not harsh but moisturising and antiseptic. When I had active breakouts, it would reduce redness and brighten the skin overall. I also experienced much less acne overall. Even cosdna has nothing bad to say about it. No irritants. I used this after my acid toner and hydrating toner, and before any hydrating serums, moisturisers, oils or sunscreen. Here's the only downside though. It's a small bottle - even though it is not uncommon for serums, which usually come in 30ml sizes - and sadly, a little does not go a long way. I used to use one and a half to two pumps morning and night (my daily and nightly skincare routines are relatively similar except for the first and last few steps) and this bottle only lasted me about four to six weeks. I will keep coming back to it though. See you soon, ISOI serum!
